Industries: Nonprofits

Whether you work for an established nonprofit that’s been around for a long time or you’re testing the waters to start a new one, we can help you. Our clients operate in many areas of the nonprofit world and some have been with us for over 30 years.

Because of the experience we’ve gained working with our nonprofit clients, we’re able to help them in many different areas. Newly formed organizations come to us for help with filling out the application to become an IRS IRS-recognized nonprofit. We help organizations of all sizes with nonprofit tax returns (filed on Form 990) and calculating unrelated business taxable income (UBTI or UBIT). We also help publicly supported charities monitor and project their revenue for purposes of meeting the public support test. We even act as payroll processors for some organizations.

Nonprofits are accountable to the public and are expected to conduct their programs and activities with transparency. As a professional services firm, we share similar goals which allow us to serve you with your best interests in mind.

Client Testimonials

We enjoy working with Kindred. They do our payroll and help with monthly balance sheet closing, along with preparing our business and personal taxes. As we have grown they have been a valuable strategic partner, helping us to plan around tax and organizational issues. They play a huge role in the success of our business and adapt to the needs of our hospitality-focused company.
